Collins
What a player, hardly any match fitness and comes in and does a great job!

Re: Collins
Seeing him absolutely delighted yet drained on the ground on his knees at the end of the game with a big smile was sweet.

Re: Collins
For clearing crosses and last-ditch blocks he's the man - I've seen few better.

For anything else, no thanks.

For those reasons, he's a player who will only ever do well in a struggling side.

Well played, you ancient ginger bollock. One of very few who seem to care. IRONS.

If it was a choice between him and Fonte I'd pick Ginge all day long!

Always done us proud!

Re: Collins
Alex V, for me he is fine at everything but now has no pace , which is fucking important!.
Today, it was very often not last-ditch. He was the man heading the balls coming in high. He is a great sub / second central defender to have, he is a good squad player, I am not saying to build a team round him.
Give him some fucking credit.

Played well today.

The BIG worry is Randolph.

He lloked shit,especially on crosses.

Awful.

Re: Collins
Interesting that it was him and Noble (and Snodgrass funnily enough) who stayed on the pitch and did a circuit thanking the fans.
The old Ginge may not be a world beater but you can tell that he is one that it DOES mean something to.

Re: Collins
Why did we buy fonte again ?

Collins looks exactly how we thought . Comitted. A leader. Selfless. The only similarity to fonte is he is fucking slow.

What a waste of money that cunt was

Re: Collins
Fonte played ok, I think you mean Ayew when you talk about waste of money.

Useless cunt of the highest order.

I don't agree with your last sentence. Collins was excellent last season when we were doing well and rightly earned himself a new deal.
Our best defender in the air, strong and fearless. Will throw himself in front of everything.

I'm not his biggest fan as a player, but I absolutely love his passion and commitment. His celebration at the end was superb.

Re: Collins
Fonte is far from ok , for a regular international in a top European team his distribution is poor he lacks pace and prone to silly mistakes , not happy at all with him , Ginge ? knows his limitations but plays to his strengths no problem with him .

Re: Collins
At the start of the season, we didn't need carthorse cunts like Collins. We needed composed defenders with a football intelligence. Players like Fonte.

However, this season turned out to be shit for us, whether it's the stadium or whatever, so we're in a relegation scrap. In that situation we don't need a nice, composed, footballing side. We need a fat cunt Allarfyce team where if you're in the middle of a back four where one of those are never in your four, just kick it as hard as you can. That's Collins.

So we shouldn't need him. He shouldn't have any place in the West Ham squad. But since we do find ourselves in this position, he's the only one we have who can play like that.

If you don't want to play in The Championship, get yourself one or two Championship centre backs and they'll keep you up. Collins is ours.
